OVERVIEW

Whitley Neill Handcrafted Dry Gin

WHITLEY NEILL is slightly softer than more traditional gins and very smooth with rich juniper and citrus, pot pourri and exotic spices.

The finish is a long one with a subtle fade of herbs, cocoa and candied lemon peels, while the nose is both citrusy sweet and peppery, with a distinctive floral aroma.

Unlike the more common method of continuous distillation, this hand-crafted gin is distilled in small batches in England's oldest Copper pot still, endearingly named Constance – after the master distiller's late mother. Only the smallest, best part of the distillate (called the heart) is collected and subsequently becomes Whitley Neill Gin.

6 O’Clock Gin 70cl

Strikingly smooth 6 O’clock Gin has a clean flavour led by Juniper.

The smoothness flows from their custom-built copper still with its unique double sphere head, together with the careful selection of botanicals teamed with the distiller’s craft at Bramley & Gage. Only the pure heart of each run makes the cut.

Edward Kain, the dapper gentleman seafarer and great grandfather of the Head Distiller, enjoyed his gin and tonic at 6 O’clock; a tradition still shared by British gin-lovers all over the world today.
